Small stories of how it all went along

New year 2015

I hope 2014 will end and 2015 gonna start well. We have a lot of things to do like the usual parties but more than that is the wedding of Leinee on the 2nd. At first, I dont wanna join due to adtional cost and trouble of attending but LO and BEHOLD I got financial assistance to buy myself a suit.

So, the whole fam is goin, Liam Kenzo, mum and me. There would be another one on the 12th that wrapped our wedding celebrations this 2015.

2014 was actually great as I spend a part of it in USA, I got some sale for PruLife, but other than that it has been uneventful.

2015 will be about house construction as this will be the year to start it and Liam’s growing months will also be a big moment to look out for.

just like anyone, I am hoping for a better 2015… but that is just my hope, i dont know what life will bring me this year, However, if future is based on the past.. then I am very SCREWED but let us see.

Just this morning, I figured to give Kenzo a simple treat. We done it several times during his summer break but not recently.

Kenzo has been longing for his playmate. He has one but sometimes that kid is not staying here. So kenzo will end up waiting and being sad that he cannot play. There are other kids but they are either big or too small for him, plus he is a bit shy approaching others to be invited.

Last xmas we went to Qc and he played a lot with Jaoquin and Shawn, he really enjoyed it and wants to go back again.

He has been wanting to play but most of the time he played with adults or just by himself.

So, today I gave him a treat. we plannned to follow his tita to tagaytay but horrendous traffic up there in the news made us scared to even try.

He end up with is small pool, not as fun with a playmate but still an upgrade than playing with his Legos alone.

a day before christmas

It was a rainy one and sadly, that ruined it for mum. All of a sudden she dont want to cook, prepare and celebrate. Just like that it ended. The rain was not letting up and it rained the whole night until the afternoon. it was a wet one and quite a first as far as I can remember.

Around lunch I talked mum out of not celebrtating. I said, she waited for xmas for a year, planned it, day-dreamed about it and now due to the heavy rains she wont celebrate. That is only the time she got some sense of it and decided to go with it. but it ws kinda too late. The celebration was haphazard, party is not as expected but good thing it happened but not in a christmassy way.

Kenzo got really nice gifts form Momsie, tita and aunt ting. Really nice presents and additional toys to your truck load of playthings. Considering we almost did not celebrate Xmas, it still ended in a sort of nice way.

a slice of our day

Not a day will pass, really, that we dont end up shouting at Kenzo. Not because he changed his ways but life now, since we have Liam, had changed. We have quite a lot on our plate and dealing with kenzo’s strong willed personality forced us to want for a really big plate, so to speak.

It is been tough, really tough. Am sure our neighbors are well aware of it as our voices, “STOP!, YOU ARE NOT LISTENING! SHIT! FUCK! SHUT UP! NO! QUIET! DONT CRY! STOP CRYING!” ring in every corner of our house. It is not a pretty sight and it is not how to raise a family. But what can we do? She put us in this corner and now we cannot just say we give up.

The only time we really enjoy our day is that about 2 hours after Liam and Kenzo sleeps. That starts around 7pm and our room is very quiet. That is the ONLY we get a precious time spent on uninterrupted rest.
